Caterina Zanfi Lecture Series in Japan

We are pleased to host a series of lectures by Dr. Caterina Zanfi, Lecturer at the French CNRS and President of the Société des amis de Bergson (SAB).

Under Dr. Zanfi's exceptional insight and leadership, contemporary Bergson studies have made remarkable progress through the strong initiatives of the SAB. These initiatives include the launch of the online journal Bergsoniana, the management of an extensive weblog, the regular hosting of the Atelier Bergson, and the promotion of the Global Bergson Research Project (IRN CNRS « A Chapter in a Global History of philosophy. New Perspectives on Bergsonism »). These multifaceted approaches have deepened and disseminated Bergson's philosophy while highlighting its contemporary relevance, thereby invigorating international academic exchanges.

This lecture series provides an important opportunity to directly hear about Dr. Zanfi's research achievements. It is expected that the lectures and discussions will foster fruitful intellectual exchanges between Japanese researchers of Bergson. We sincerely hope that this occasion will contribute to the development of new perspectives on Bergson's philosophy and deepen international academic dialogues.
